Intro
When playing some older or niche games from other regions, you often encounter garbled text, making them unplayable or causing crashes. To fix this, you need to switch your system’s locale to match the correct language.
While you can change Windows’ region settings, it’s usually cumbersome and requires a PC reboot. Plus, if you forget to change it back, your regular software might malfunction. That’s where dedicated locale emulation software comes in.

Setup Instructions
After downloading and unzipping, run “LEInstaller” to install it for the current user or all users, as needed.
Once installed, open “LEGUI” to configure your locale environments. (For Japanese games, this step is often optional, as it usually auto-configures a default environment).
How to Use
Find the game’s executable (.exe) you want to run, then right-click it.
Next, select “Locale Emulator” and choose the appropriate locale environment to launch the game. (If you’re on Windows 11, you might need to click “Show more options” first).
Just a Note
This is mainly for my own records. The official website already provides comprehensive usage instructions.
